An idea worth
exploring.
BiteMap is a mobile application I designed in my free time. The idea was to create a simple way to discover, upload, review, and save restaurant dishes nearby.
The concept brings those activities into one experience, from finding something interesting to saving it for later. Below are the identity explorations and screens I designed.
Giving the idea a visual identity.
The logo explorations introduce BiteMap before getting into the app itself. They sit alongside a simple interface focused on the dishes people are sharing.
The first steps into the app.
I designed sign-up and login screens alongside the user flow. These show how someone gets into the experience before moving into discovery.
Making the dish the starting point.
The home experience puts restaurant dishes at the center of the screen. From there, people can look more closely at a dish, read a review, and find information about the restaurant.
Explore offers another way to look for something to try. Together, these screens support the core idea of discovering food nearby.
Giving people a way to share what they find.
Uploading a post is the other side of discovery. These screens show the flow for adding a dish to the app so others can find it.
Connecting the food with the place.
The map brings location into the experience. The profile screens give people a place within the app, alongside the discovery and posting flows.
